The Young Wait es una sólida banda de rock con raíces americanas formada en la ciudad de San Sebastián. Tras varios singles, un álbum de debut, innumerables conciertos y cambio de formación, presentan en 2020 su flamante nuevo disco, ‘Notes From a Recent Past’.

El sonido de The Young Wait -con evidentes aires a The Band y Neil Young– bebe de las fuentes más puras de la tradición norteamericana, desde Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Allman Brothers, Greatuful Dead, Bert Jansch, Tom Petty, Townes Van Zandt hasta llegar a Wilco, Cracker y los Jayhawks. Su lenguaje es Folk, Blues, Americana, Psicodelia y Pop luminoso en canciones honestas con intención de perdurar en el tiempo.
